Charles Amirkhanian talks with one of KPFA's former Music Directors (1953-1960) who left to become music editor of “New York Magazine”. Mr. Rich was in the San Francisco Bay Area to report on activities of both the San Francisco Opera and the Bay Area Rapid Transit System (BART). He published a book on the future of the orchestra and is the author of “Music: Mirror of the Arts”. |
