Charles Amirkhanian introduces an evening of text-sound pieces, recorded live in concert at the California Institute of the Arts on February 13, 1972. Most of the pieces heard here were composed by students of Ingram Marshall’s, first in the world, seminar on text sound compositions at Cal Arts. Also heard is a tape piece composed by the Swedo-Finnish composer Tex Sound (E. Thogrim Baesjehode) as well as a piece, ”Moonbeams for Bedfellow”, composed by Anne Mazonson and based on a poem by Larry Eigner. |
