Interview with Frank Zappa, May 17, 1984

Charles Amirkhanian interviews Frank Zappa in anticipation of his appearance as part of the Speaking of Music series sponsored by the San Francisco Exploratorium. In this program Zappa discusses his digital re-mastering of his album "Lumpy Gravy" and other early works. Unfortunately the musical selections introduced during this program are not included in this recording, however that does little to detract from this informative and always entertaining give and take with one of America’s most iconic rock musician’s.
