Reminiscent of some of John Cage’s aleatory compositions for FM radio this opera contains an amalgam of sounds ranging from Peking Opera, to sound poetry, to snippets of TV, to musicians performing on a variety of instruments. This program was composed live on the air on April 20, 1970 as part of the KQED program “Capicorn’s Collisions with Robert Moran”.
